A fast-growing DTC wellness brand is looking for a Creative Strategist to help drive its next stage of growth on Meta. You'd own the full loop: research, concepts, briefs, and performance analysis, working directly with the founders and a growing in-house editing team.
This isn't a briefs-only role. You'll dig into customer research, spot the angles competitors are missing, and turn them into creative that actually acquires customers profitably at scale.
WHO THEY ARE
They're a scaling DTC ecommerce brand in the sleep and wellness space, built specifically around an underserved 50+ audience that most DTC brands ignore. They're growing fast, investing heavily in their creative engine, and building the core team ahead of an international expansion.
Founder-led, flat structure, direct access to the Co-Founder and Creative Director
Multiple sources of creative input: internal strategists, in-house editors, and an external performance creative agency
Culture built on ownership, curiosity, and low ego over hierarchy
Genuinely invests in courses and tools to help the team get better at their craft
15+ unique concepts tested weekly, with capacity growing fast
This is a fully remote, full-time role.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
Real ownership from day one. You'll bring your own research, hypotheses, and concepts, not just execute someone else's roadmap.
Direct access to the founders. You'll work closely with the Co-Founder and Creative Director, not sit three layers removed from decision-making.
A growing creative engine behind you. They have a video editing team dedicated to help strategists like you get more creatives tested, faster.
Performance-based bonuses. Get rewarded when your concepts actually win.
Serious investment in your growth. Industry-leading courses and training, funded whenever they'll sharpen your craft.
Room to grow fast. As the brand expands into new products and markets, there's real scope to move into a senior or leadership role.
WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO
Dig into customer research (reviews, surveys, Reddit, comments) to uncover new angles and pain points worth testing
Develop and brief creative concepts across UGC, VSLs, and direct-response formats
Write scripts and briefs clear enough that editors can execute without back-and-forth
Analyse creative performance (CPA, ROAS, CTR, hook rate, hold rate) and turn the data into next steps
Own concepts from initial insight through to live test and iteration
Study competitors, Meta Ad Library, and emerging formats to stay ahead of what's working
Collaborate with an external creative agency and share learnings both ways
Help shape creative strategy for new products and markets as the brand expands
WHO YOU ARE
You have 2+ years in creative strategy or performance creative, ideally at a high-growth DTC brand or performance creative agency
You have a track record of developing Meta creatives that actually scaled, not just performed well on a small budget
You understand direct-response advertising: hooks, offers, problem/solution structures, and how awareness level changes messaging
You're comfortable digging through reviews, surveys, and forums to find real customer insight, not just recreating what's trending
You're fluent in reading performance data and turning it into concrete creative decisions
You write clear, detailed briefs and work well with editors and designers
You take ownership of your concepts through to launch rather than waiting to be told what's next
You can talk through creatives you've actually made: the insight, the bet, the result, and what you learned
You're comfortable with AI tools as part of your everyday workflow, not resistant to them
You're fluent in English, written and spoken
Bonus if you've:
Worked in sleep, wellness, beauty, supplements, or other problem/solution consumer categories
Marketed to an older demographic, particularly women 50+
Used tools like Atria, Foreplay, Higgsfield, or similar creative analytics and AI platforms
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 30 days: You're deeply familiar with the brand, the customer, historical winners and losers, and the performance data. You're already contributing ideas and shipping initial tests with the team.
By 60 days: You're independently researching, developing, and briefing strong concepts. You own specific testing areas, work effectively with editors, and turn results into iterations without needing to be chased.
By 90 days: You're fully embedded in the creative engine, consistently shipping high-quality tests, and proactively shaping the testing roadmap. You're operating with real autonomy, and there's clear evidence your work is driving profitable customer acquisition.
