What makes someone stop scrolling, pay attention and actually buy?
That's what you'll spend your time figuring out in this role.
You'll work with established DTC brands, understanding consumer psychology, uncovering what motivates their customers and turning those insights into creative strategies that drive real business growth.
You'll own paid social strategy, work directly with founders and shape creative direction based on your audience insights.
And you'll do it at a boutique agency where you'll start with just 2 to 3 accounts, have the freedom to make decisions and work alongside experienced strategists who care about results, not just what's happening inside Ads Manager.
They're a boutique DTC growth agency managing over $100M in media spend for brands generating a combined $1B in annual revenue.
The founder helped scale one of the best-known DTC performance agencies from 8 to 450 people through to an exit, leading a 120-person paid social team along the way.
Today, they're a team of around 20 across the US, Australia and Canada. They've deliberately stayed small, with experienced strategists working directly with clients.
Their approach starts with consumer psychology, not the ad account. They focus on understanding what makes people buy and using those insights to develop creative strategies that grow brands.
Their principles are simple:
Honesty over polish. If something isn't working, say so and fix it.
High autonomy, high accountability. Own your decisions and outcomes.
Small and collaborative. No politics or unnecessary meetings.
No layers. Direct access to senior leadership and the founder.
This is a fully remote, full-time role. US-based candidates will be hired as employees, while international candidates may be considered as contractors. Hours are flexible, with some overlap required for Australian clients.
Fewer accounts, deeper work. Start with 2 to 3 clients, giving you the time to understand their businesses and build strategies that make a difference.
Big brands, serious budgets. Work with DTC brands generating $20M to $100M+ annually, with some reaching $400M, managing six and seven-figure monthly budgets and working directly with founders.
Commission on your accounts. Earn commission on your portfolio alongside your base compensation, with opportunities to increase your earnings as you grow.
A clear path to grow. Progress from Growth Strategist to Growth Director and beyond, with defined expectations, quarterly reviews and leaders who've followed that same path.
Training that makes you better. Two weekly sessions covering consumer psychology, creative strategy, cross-channel measurement and performance analysis.
Learn from an experienced founder. Work directly with someone who's led a 120-person paid social team and still stays close to the work.
Benefits and time together. Unlimited PTO, health insurance and 401(k) for US employees, plus two annual company retreats.
Own paid social strategy and execution across your accounts, including growth plans, budgets, testing and optimisation.
Understand each client's customers, from buying motivations and objections to audience personas, and turn those insights into actionable strategies.
Lead client relationships, running weekly meetings, explaining performance and recommending next steps.
Develop creative strategy with the creative team, translating audience research and performance data into briefs and new testing angles.
Analyse performance beyond Ads Manager, focusing on revenue, new customers and MER to guide decisions.
Run structured experiments across creative, audiences, campaigns and incrementality, documenting what works.
Collaborate with Google strategists on cross-channel accounts to align growth plans.
Support junior team members and contribute to improving internal processes and training.
