What if your best-looking edit is the one nobody spends money on?

Here, aesthetics are only half the job. You’ll be editing Meta ads, watching what actually gets spent, and turning those signals into better creative. One week might mean an AI song, the next an AI avatar, a VSL, or a mashup of footage from completely different worlds.

WHO THEY ARE

A DTC footwear brand building court shoes around the way people actually move. They sell through Shopify to players who are on court several times a week, and they stand behind the product with 100-day free exchanges and a six-month warranty.

The team is small, remote and founder-led. There are no layers between a good idea and getting it done, and no shortage of problems worth solving.

  • Founders stay close to the customer and the day-to-day

  • Curiosity and good judgment matter more than credentials

  • Small changes can have a visible impact within weeks

  • Remote by default, with a strong focus on what gets done

This is a fully remote, full-time role.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • A bonus tied to the work you make. You earn a cut of the ad spend on every ad you produce. Your winners pay you.

  • You see the numbers yourself. Direct access to performance data, plus strategist reports. You never edit blind.

  • Work on your own schedule. No fixed shifts, no rota. You get the backlog, you decide when you’re at your best.

  • Training paid for. Free access to courses from top people in the industry, including creative strategy, not just editing.

  • A real path up. Lead video editor, or sideways into creative strategy and the performance team.

  • Proper time off. Vacation allowance, travel allowance, and leave when health gets in the way.

WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO

  • Ship 5 to 7 videos a week, roughly two minutes each, built for 9:16 Meta placements

  • Build mashups from professional footage and Instagram clips that stop the scroll in the first second

  • Produce short VSLs, AI avatar spots and AI podcast formats as the test calendar demands

  • Generate AI clips in Higgsfield.ai and voice in ElevenLabs fast enough that generation stops being the bottleneck

  • Source clips and hunt the right footage out of raw folders while the asset library gets rebuilt around you

  • Work off a backlog set by two creative strategists, in daily contact with them

  • Read your own performance data and push what you learn into the next batch

  • Drive your revision count down. That number is part of how quality is measured here.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have edited ads for 8 or 9-figure ecommerce brands.

  • You have experience creating DTC product-focused ads, ideally for fashion or problem-solving products.

  • You’ve worked on ads that generated significant spend, ideally $100k+.

  • You’re proficient in Premiere Pro or CapCut.

  • You’re comfortable using AI tools such as Higgsfield.ai and ElevenLabs.

  • You understand what makes someone stop scrolling and keep watching.

  • You can take a concept and turn it into an edit without needing every visual decision mapped out for you.

  • You’re comfortable experimenting with different formats, styles, and creative approaches.

  • You understand that performance matters as much as how good an edit looks.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Day 30: You're editing from day one, with extensive feedback, weekly calls and daily contact with your creative strategist. By the end of the month you're at full output: 5 to 7 videos a week, no hand-holding on the backlog.

  • Day 60: You're producing winning ads weekly. A winner is a video that spends more than $10,000 in the account.

  • Day 90: Winners are consistent rather than occasional, your revision count is among the lowest on the team, and you're bringing format ideas to the strategists instead of waiting for the brief.
